Japanese Knotweed Treatment Kent, London And The South East
New Build Landscapes had been approached on various occasions by commercial and domestic clients about eradication of Japanese Knotweed.
Spraying
After research into the subject we found two methods to be available the first being the conventional spraying of chemical with knapsack sprayer onto the knotweed leaves and the chemical being systemically taken into the plant but obviously in some situations this can not be used due to the sensitivity of spraying on some sites.
Stem Injection
The next step in going forward was the stem injection system which is applied directly into the stems of Japanese knotweed at the correct time of year, this is found to be more effective and weather tolerant. Stem injection has no damaging effects to any surrounding vegetation unlike conventional spraying methods.
New Build Landscapes are NPTC trained and certified and can offer a cost effective service, in our area covered, to existing and new clients in both methods and can offer a site visit as to which would be the most suitable method of Japanese knotweed eradication.
